Learning Recommendations:  Any PE course 

General DescriptionCourse intended for students with injuries or other reasons for PE reluctance.  All workouts will be modifiable for student's individual fitness levels and restrictions.

Content:  One day per week will be devoted to an outside walking/jogging workout and the other will be a cross-training type workout.

Strategies:  In class demonstration and instruction on all movements required for each workout. Students will be instructed on proper technique and safety while performing the workouts at a relatively high intensity.

Homework:  Outside workouts are an integral part of this course as it makes up the other 60% of participation when students are NOT in class. The outside time commitment is 1.5 hours/week of exercise.

Course Fee / Materials:  PE Shirt Required.  Heart rate monitor $100 

Format:  This class meets 2 days per week.

Length/Credit:  This is a semester long course for .5 credit.
