Learning Recommendations:  Photography 1                                                                       

General Description: This semester long course builds upon Photography 1 and includes advanced techniques in lighting, shooting, post processing, artistic expression, and exhibiting work.

Content:

• Lighting techniques
• Shooting techniques
• Processing, printing, and exhibiting skills
• Advanced post editing techniques
• Portfolio building
• Critiques and Presentations

Strategies:  Students will learn through a combination of:

• Hands on experience
• Individual and team work
• Modeling
• Research

Homework:  Students will be required to take one photo a week, and 5- 25 photos per project may be required to be taken outside of class.

Course Fee / Materials:  $35 Fee (includes 2 rolls of film & paper).  Students must purchase their own SD card.  Estimated additional cost is $5-10. Digital cameras and Adobe CC are provided.
