Strategies: Students learn through a combination of:

  • Membership in DECA
  • Participation in DECA conferences

Notes: Students are required to join DECA and take an active role in DECA conferences. These conferences have additional costs associated with them that students should be prepared to pay. Most students will attend at least one conference. These conferences provide students with the opportunity to travel and meet students from Washington State and throughout the United States. Completion of this course with a B or better may qualify students for college credit at various community college/technical school programs.
