Learning Recommendations: Art 1 and Ceramics 1, Ceramics 2.
General Description: In Ceramics 3, students will explore advanced throwing, hand-building, and glazing techniques. Students will be given artistic freedom to further explore the ceramic medium while justifying their themes and aesthetic decisions. Students will connect their work to art history whenever possible. Emphasis is placed on in-class participation and effort. Successful completion of assignments, satisfactory attendance and participation are requirements for credit.
