General Description: In this one semester class students will engage in debates and discussions on a variety of issues. Some of those issues may include, but are not limited to moral, political, social, constitutional, and/or religious issues. This course will teach the elements of debate, including the formation of a logical argument, research strategies, and the practical application of these skills. Students will learn useful strategies and skills for both formal and informal debates/arguments. This course earns elective credit only.
