General Description: This semester-long course covers a variety of health related topics that affect teens today. The course encourages students to develop healthful attitudes and practices for life-long benefit. This course is a state graduation requirement. 

Important Notes: As a part of the Health course curriculum, students will be certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Students will also learn about HIV/AIDS and human sexuality through the Family Life and Sexual Health (FLASH) curriculum. Students are expected to contribute to mature discussions within the FLASH unit. This course is recommended for grades 10-12
