Learning Recommendations: World History 1 & World History 2
General Description: World Studies 3 is a semester-long Social Studies class that is a study of the geography, politics, economics, society and history of the world. World Studies 3 focuses on social, political and economic changes that took place during the 20th century and set the stage for globalization and the current world order. The course focuses on critical thinking, essay writing, note taking, research and other relevant skills.

Strategies: The approaches taken in this course should include but not be limited to collaborative and/or cooperative learning groups, inquiry-based instruction, primary source analysis and lectures, films, readings, and independent research and analysis.
Homework: Homework will only consist of work that you do not finish during class time. There will be no formally assigned homework, aside from reviewing for exams or working on projects.
