Learning Recommendations: Sales & Marketing 1 and application

General Description: This course is a continuation of content in the marketing field. Students will be involved in a more project based atmosphere which involves operating the DECA student store.

Students are required to join DECA and take an active role in DECA conferences. These conferences have additional costs associated with them that students should be prepared to pay. Most students will attend at least one conference. These provide students with the opportunity to travel and meet students from Washington State and throughout the United States.

  • Conduct market research
  • Complete financial portfolio

Homework:  Participation in DECA can involve a significant amount of time outside of class. Other than DECA Competition, this class features almost no homework.
