Learning Recommendations: Sales & Marketing 1 & 2, and application

General Description:  This marketing class provides hands-on retail and management experience by managing the Student Store. Students learn entrepreneurial skills by managing a retail business.

Students are required to join DECA and take an active role in DECA conferences. These conferences have additional costs associated with them that students should be prepared to pay. Most students will attend at least one conference.

These provide students with the opportunity to travel and meet students from Washington State and throughout the United States.

Homework:  Participation in DECA can involve a significant amount of time outside of class. Other than DECA Competition, this class features almost no homework.
