General Description:  Japanese 2 is a yearlong continuation of Japanese 1. Students expand on vocabulary and sentence structure, understanding and usage. Continued emphasis is on all language skills including speaking listening reading and the writing of kana as well as kanji. Daily homework and good attendance is required. The class contains a lot of in-class activities, pair works, fun projects, crafts, and skits (including driving, phone conversation, and restaurant).

Homework:  Two worksheets a day (about 10-20 minutes), cultural portfolio, projects, and national holiday presentation
