General Description: This is an introductory course to learn the fundamentals of creating three-dimensional artwork using a variety of media. Students will develop their skills through learning about techniques, materials, concepts, and artists to provide a well-rounded 3D art experience. This is a messy class and students should be prepared to encounter many different textures and materials.
Content:
- Materials mayinclude: clay, plaster, paper maché, foam, paper, glue, wire, soap, found objects, and more
- Critiques
- Technical art skills and media experimentation
- Analyze professional artist work
- Reflections on the process and completion of artwork
