Learning Recommendations: "C-" or higher in MT200A/B - CC GeometryThis course will cover the essential Algebra 2 concepts. It will work to build skill for those that might not have as strong of a foundation from Algebra 1. This course meets the Algebra 2 requirement for four-year college admission.

General Description: Applied Algebra 2 focuses on the application of mathematics and statistics to the solution of functional problems in fields such as engineering and the applied sciences. The course includes practical application of mathematical concepts such as exponents and systems of equations and inequalities. Students will learn about functions, quadratic equations, conic sections, exponential and logarithmic functions, polynomials, rational functions, sequences and series, probability and trigonometric functions and identities.
