Learning Recommendations: Successful completion of HF330A/B - Teaching Academy 1

General Description: Students will intern for an entire year at an elementary or middle school. Second year teaching interns are responsible for assisting their mentor teacher in all aspects of teaching including developing unit plans, and planning and teaching at least one lesson every two weeks. Any student receiving below 70% will not be permitted to continue to subsequent semesters.

• Complete internship at an elementary or middle school

• Creation of learning plans
• Reflection regarding techniques

Equipment to be provided by Student: Students must provide their own transportation with minimum liability insurance of $100,000/$300,000 required.
