General Description: Psychology is an academic elective that examines how our minds and bodies work together to create us as individuals.  This course will introduce you to the ways that both nature and nurture shape you and your actions in the world. This course has a large emphasis on human biology, as we explore how biological systems drive our behavior.

Strategies:  Students will learn through a variety of strategies that include, but are not limited to, research, presentations, cooperative group projects, and non-fiction text readings and documentaries.

Homework:  Limited to work not finished in class or preparation for exams.
